Can I get Cellular Data on Mac?

I was wondering if it was possible to make your Mac pick up cellular data via third party apps etc.

No. There is no cellular radio in a Mac. You could, however, tether it to a cellular device like an iPhone, using the Personal Hotspot feature, or another cellular hotspot device.
