Hi, planning to upgrade my existing Macbook Pro (A1989) SSD from 256GB to 1TB.
May I know which SSD brand is the most suitable for my Macbook and how easy is it to transfer or clone over to the new SSD?

I believe it is not possible at all if it is this model:
Most newer Macs cannot do much in the way of upgrades which it is why you must buy them thinking long-term.
Confirming it is not upgradeable. The storage is soldered to the logic board, as is the RAM. The last MacBook Pros with user-upgradeable SSDs were the 2015 models.
How easy is it to upgrade the SSD and which brand to purchase?
