How the books app on iPad and iBook on the mac are related? Are they auto-sync? I don't have an access to a good enough wifi for iCloud. My macbook pro storage is almost full. My iPad still has enough space, but the Books app is not really work well.

Need to put a bunch of pdf files and use an app that is convenient and reliable to access. I think iCloud is good as long as it has strong wifi, but I don't have wifi all the time. So, that make books on iPad is kinda slow. And I think using a portable Hdd is a good solution for my low storage MacBook, but wanna hear if there is a better solution than using the portable HD and which app is recommended the best for studying and keeping note updated either in the lecture or self study.

MacBook Pro 13", 10.13

You don’t have to have a good Wi-fi all the time. Only to sync and download books. All. Wi if is cable of doing that. Some times it faster with a good connection. But very slow when connection is not great

best way to describe it like streaming a good connection will stream worn no issues a poor connection will still stream but will buffering. And not good to watch
