I updated my iPhone 5s to iOS12.1.3 and have been having battery problems.
It jumps from 35% charge to 1% in a few seconds then shuts down. This leaves me stranded without a phone.
As soon as it reboots after connecting to a charger it show 35% charge.
So it goes from zero charge to 35% in the time it takes to reboot.
How do I fix this?

The local dealer, on your list, is Switch, at Marquee Mall, Angeles City. They do not stock an iPhone, 5s battery. It has to be special ordered. I see Apple's "Authorized Service Provider" signs at other locations that are definitely not listed on the web site you provided. I will get a battery from them.
The battery is only 18 months old, at the most. If the new battery I purchased was old before my purchase, would that produce the same result?
I did. And I will. I am in the Philippines where it is buyer beware, no matter how authorized a dealer is.
If they are not mentioned on the site, then it means that they are not authorized.
