Is there a way to sidechain multipressor?
I am trying to cut about -4db at 2K from a karaoke track but only when vocals are present. I think the best way to do this is by sjidechaining multipressor. Thank you!

You might also use the normal Compressor for this task.
You can define what frequency shall be ducked by side chain.
I'm using this function to reduce bleed of cymbals on piano mikes on live recordings.
Click on "side chain" and all parameters show up on the right side.
You can't apply a side-chain to the Multipressor. However, here is a quick way to reduce vocals from a track:
Since the vocals are typically mixed in the middle, this will cancel out most of the vocals.
Unfortunately, low frequency instruments (bass, kick drum) are also mixed in the middle, so those go away too. A slightly better but more complicated way to do this is to:
The two busses 11 & 12 will combine to give you back the low-end (bus 12) and the mids/highs without vocals.
For now I am doing it the old fashioned way, cutting 10db at 2K, using automation on Channel EQ's Peak 4 Gain and set the Q to .75, or something like that. Thank you all for helping.
Check under "Filter". The LISTEN button monitors what is ducked. Fiddle around with FREQUENCY MODE Q and GAIN knobs to get what you want.
Thank you so much for replying rzazula. A great trick you taught me. I should have been little bit more descriptive, I actually have one separate track for karaoke and second track for vocals. I want to make little bit more room for the vocals so they are a bit more upfront. I could do this manually by automation but wondering if multipressor will work. Thanks again

Cigame, Thank you so much for this trick. I have setup a compressor on Karaoke track and set the side chain (the one on very top right) to vocal channel. Selected 'Side Chain' from 'Side Chain/Output'. Filter is 'off' and Frequency set to 2K. Q is set to middle. I do see it pumping when vocals come on, compressing about 5 db. Am I doing it right? Thank you so much.
I have to admit, that was what I hoped it would do.
In my work it is useful also by ducking the whole spectrum, but having the compressor reducing only bass frequencies for example or getting sidechaining in MultiCompressor would be a nice feature.
I see. Yes, based on your description, cigame's trick of "ducking" the music track should work nicely.
Wrong, does not matter how you filter side chain, compressor will duck out full spectrum, that's it how it works ! For your problem, you need multiband compressor or something like a dynamic Eq with side chain ( for example Izotope etc.). For me best is Trackspacer from Wavesfactory. Also, you can try mid EQ from Logics on board EQ in MS mode for static removing problem frequencies.
You are technically correct, but if you look at his use-case, he really just wanted to duck the music so the vocal stands out on top. I think the side chain on the standard compressor will do a good job.
But, as you say, it isn't dropping a certain frequency range, it is just reacting to that range on the input and reducing the full spectrum.
