Is there a way to completely block text messaging for my stepdaughter’s iPhone? I’ve tried limiting screen time, but she can “ignore limit” and text.
Also, her FaceTime is grayed out under settings, and I’ve checked everything possible - camera settings, FaceTime settings, cellular data.. everything is as it should be.
Your carrier can remove messaging from her line. Also, refer to more information about parental controls here

You are setting times limits? Also change your password as She could know it. Children today are very tech savvy! Also remove face time.
We don’t want to want to take her phone completely because we need to call since she is home alone at times (she’s 13). I have removed messages from allowable apps, but she is still able to send and receive texts. Her FaceTime is an allowable app but is not working
