Can't edit anything in iTunes

So I have read through other posts with this issue, but I have not been able to resolve it. So currently I have iTunes on windows 10. I can't seem to edit anything. I looked through the properties>security>etc and I already have full control. Can anyone help?

See Repair security permissions for iTunes for Windows - Apple Community. Have you explicitly applied permissions to enclosed objects even if all looks OK at the level of the iTunes folder? Tried running iTunes as administrator?

See where it says Replace owner on subcontainers and objects.

Have you tried the section headed File is locked, on a locked disk, or you don't have write permission errors?

See also Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows update - Apple Community. A full teardown and rebuild might help. The traditional installer may work better for you than the version from the Microsoft Store.

When I edit song info in itunes, the boxes are fine, i can click in them. however, I just can't type anything in there or delete anything. Also under file, convert, those options are grayed out.

Currently I don't have any music on itunes? It's all on my phone as i uploaded them onto my phone on my other computer, itunes works on there fine.

Reason why I want to edit song info on songs that are currently on my phone is because when I uploaded them, I had put the artist in on itunes. It looks fine on itunes, but when i uploaded the music into my phone it doesn't show the artist, it only shows the title.

Edit: appears to be that new songs can be edited, but the songs that are currently on my phone can't be.
