Apple repair status... repair or replacing

my phone was sent into the repair center to either be repaired or replaced, the silent switch was faulty. I have this update today under the status, does this mean they are attempting to repair the switch or just replacing it under warranty. I don’t care either way, I just can’t wait to have my phone back, but I’m just curious.
