Developer tools lose options when responsive mode is on

There are two situations that I consider abnormal in Safari:

When you activate the responsive design mode and the Web Inspector is open, the Web Inspector gets closed
When the Responsive Design Mode is active and you open the Web Inspector, the Web Inspector opens but it shows only the current tab. Normally you would have several tabs (Elements, Network, Debugger, etc) but in this situation you would only have one tab

If there are other web developers that are like me, this represents a severe annoyance. To be honest this makes it even more difficult to keep using Safari for web development which is already a little bit tough.

I guess the question is: Is this a feature or a bug?

Can confirm behaviour 1. Not experiencing behaviour 2:

You can send Apple feedback or file a bug report. Also, if you are dissatisfied with Safari for web development have a look at Blisk. Some premium features are disabled after 30 min. of daily use. A subscription is available .

YES. This is super annoying, and has been an issue for me since updating Safari to V12.

I figure it's a bug - and something that the Safari team really should have picked up on by now. Can't imagine why it would be a feature.

Have submitted bug report and feedback, but no responses or anything yet.
