recovery mode won't work
My iPhone X completely won't go into recovery mode, and I need to reset the password as I've forgotten it. What do I do?!!

Why won't it go into recovery mode?

It just keeps on going back to the lock screen, I've tried talking to apple on their chat and watched videos on how to do it but nothing seems to work!
