Note too that Apple Music items, or anything that is in the cloud, cannot be burnt to disc. Unchecked tracks are probably excluded too. Right-click and click Check Selection if applicable. Download if the items show with a cloud symbol.

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today. It sounds like some of your songs in iTunes are grayed out.

I can point you to an article that can help resolve this exact issue: About iCloud Music Library icons and status. Scroll down to "If your songs appear in light gray text".

Thanks for getting back to us. Apple Music and iTunes Match are two different services, although Apple Music has features similar to iTunes Match. If you don't currently have these services, there could be something else going on with these tracks. Try deleting then redownloading these grayed tracks from the iTunes Store: Redownload apps, music, movies, TV shows, and books from the App Store, iTunes Store, and Apple Books.
