30 Hz using ports on the right and 60 Hz using ports on the left

I have an external 4K display (LG 27UD88-W) which I connect to my MBP TB 2018 with an USB-C cable provided by LG. I have to connect it to the ports on the left side of my Mac to achieve refresh rate of 60 Hz. Ports on the right provide only 30 Hz refresh rate. Is it a bug or a feature?

I've managed to solve the problem. It wasn't actually Macbook's fault - it was the external display. It sometimes has issues with properly connecting to Macbook, all I had to do was change the display source on my monitor from USB-C to any other and then set it back to USB-C. It now works on every port on my Macbook. It was a coincidence that initially it did not work with ports on the right.
