Context: I am trying to display 4K at 60hz on my Samsung monitor. To do this, you need a USB-C to DisplayPort. My question is will Mini Display Port work?

Mini DisplayPort and [Full-Size] DisplayPort differ ONLY in the size and shape of the connector.

Changing from one to the other is only a re-wire, No conversion of any kind is required. So it is solid as a rock and does not exceed anything and works just great.
