M1 Mac Mini 2560x1440 @ 144 Hz Monitor

Hi,

Is it possible to get 2560x1440 @ 120 Hz or 144 Hz on the M1 Mac Mini by using a USB-C to HDMI cable ? If yes, I must be doing something wrong. I am plugging the Mac computer to my ASUS PG279Q (144 Hz) using such cable but MacOS only lets me use it at 60 Hz (the refresh rate dropdown is set to 60 in Display settings and it is grayed out). The reason I am using the HDMI port on the monitor is because the DisplayPort port on it is already occupied by another computer.

Thank you.

Renzo
