Help! -Rejected podcast

Your image's file size is way too large at 5.4MB. You need to get it down below 500kB. I would have expected this to have been rejected automatically when you validated the feed in Podcasts Connect prior to submitting it.

The validation there is for technical problems with the feed. The staff then assess your podcast for content. The sort of things which can get you rejected are listed in the page linked to in the email you received. I can't check on the content because I don't speak French.

However though my understanding (which means guess) is that they check only the top episode in the feed, your other episode is in fact the earlier one, and it has no playable media, so as far as iTunes is concerned it isn't an episode at all (and wouldn't show it). I suppose it's possible that it is this which has caused the issue, though I have no way of knowing. I would advise either putting some playable media into it or removing it, at least until you've been accepted.

Read the list they linked to and make sure you haven't breached any of the guidlines. If you have any strong or sexual language at all you need to change your 'itunes:explicit' tags to 'yes' - Apple are quite touchy about this sort of content, and though you are allowed- within limits - to include it they want visitors warned about it.

Your episode is dated February 3rd. You also have an episode dated February 2nd, entitled 'Salut des Riches'. This has no playable media - meaning sound recording such as is in your other episode. This episode appears at the bottom of the feed: I suspect it's got in there by accident.

The image is 516KB - this may be rejected as it is over the limit. The phantom episode has indeed disappeared. Evertything else seems to be technically OK - as I say I can't really comment on content. It might as well be Sanskrit given my lack of linguistic ability.

There is obviously something you need to do at Libsyn which you haven't done, to get the revised image into the feed (incidentally I should give it a different filename). I can't advise on this, but Libsyn Support will be able to guide you.
