I found two files in the .cache directory on my iMac, both are related to wine.
wine_gecko-2.47-x86.msi
wine-mono-4.7.1.msi
Files command returns in part: "Composite Document File V2 Document, Little Endian, Os: Windows . . ."
What in the world are these, and can I get rid of them, so sense wasting SDD space.
Wine is an application used to run Windows applications on other platforms such as Mac OS. We don't know what software you are using and if part of it calls for running Wine.
If you are the only user on this computer you downloaded them. Wine is a MS windows emulator that some use to run Windows apps on their Macs. Use Find Any File to locate the files and trash them.
