Embedded youtube videos not playing in safari

So i have an iPhone XS with latest firmware (updated 5 minutes ago) and can’t seem to play embedded YouTube videos. The red play button is totally unresponsive. I can however click the title link which opens up the YouTube app where everything works fine. The other buttons ie “play later” works too. True force quitting both app and phone without result. Any suggestions?
