my facetime live photos does’nt save anywhere in the phone even when my facetime live photos is on in settings

There is an issue with FaceTime and Live photos affecting some users. I have the same issue and Apple Support has acknowledged that there are others experiencing the same difficulties. My case has been escalated to engineering and I will update when they revert.

3/13/2019: my iPad will not allow me to take photos during FaceTime. I reported this when I was operating on IOS 12.1.3. It seemed to be solved at some time during IOS 12.1.3. Then as soon as I downloaded 12.1.4, poof! it no longer worked!
