Apple Community, it looks like DragThing is being deep-sixed by James Thomson.
This is a big loss. I've used it on every Mac I've had since DragThing first came out, and DragThing has become essential to my Mac.
I'm sure many of you are also looking for a substitute-- or at least something close.
Has anyone found something that approximates DragThing and the way it works-- or a comparable solution within Mojave?

Looks woefully outdated. If you search the App Store for "DragThing" a few alternatives show
No matter what I would not download anything from an aggregator site if you can not get it directly from the developer or App Store.

Of course, I've done searches for "like DragThing," etc., but I'm looking for MacOS users who have experience with software that approximates DragThing and the way it works-- or a comparable solution.
