Need help with formulas for a Personal Budget in the Numbers App.

I am using the Personal Budget template in the Numbers App and I changed the categories, but I must have done something wrong. I used the pop-up menu under the Cell tab on the Transactions page. On the Budget page, when I changed them, they showed up under the "donut" chart, so everything looked like it was working, but now they don't sync between the Transactions page and the Budget page. When I enter a transaction, it does not change anything on the Budget page. Is there somewhere with step by step instructions on the formulas, etc?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
