sharing internet through bluetooth

First, my iPad access internet using mobile cellular network.

next I connect my MacBook Pro to iPad using the Bluetooth.

than I turn on personal hotspot on iPad and select “use only Bluetooth and usb”.

now my MacBook Pro should be able to access internet, right?

I tried this many time but my MacBook Pro still unable to access internet, Why?

Hi, make sure you have WiFi disabled on both devices, then turn on Hotspot for Bluetooth and usb on the iPad and then connect MacBook Pro to the iPad from the MacBook's network preferences page, it should then get a connection.
