Just got my iPad Pro 11” with the Smart Keyboard. Downloaded Messanger app and it won’t let me type with the keyboard to reply to messages. Are they not compatible? Works fine with Facebook app and Safari.

It was only showing the suggested words, no keyboard. Undocked it and tried again and now it work. Lol. Must have been a glitch. Now to figure out how to delete notifications on the Facebook app. . .
There is no reason I can see why the keyboard won't let you type a response within Messenger. What happens when you try? Do you see the onscreen keyboard on the iPad? I use a Bluetooth Keyboard case (not the Apple Folio Keyboard Case) on my Pro 11 and type messages in Messenger all the time.
Not the notifications through iOS but the ones within the Facebook app itself. They usually have 3 little dots near the edge to click to remove each one. Not showing up in the iPad version of the app for me.
Oh I see. If you just tap the bell, it brings up the notifications. You don't have to actually look at or remove any of the notifications. Just tapping the bell to bring them up, then close the app and the notifications are gone.
