e-mails to btopenworld and btinternet returned

I'm having problems sending e-mails form my Mac to BTOpenworld and BTinternet e-mail addresses. They appear to be sent and then I get Mail Delivery System e-mail stating Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender 4 hours later. Any ideas/help anyone?

Mail sends ok but does not arrive - just to one address! I can send mail from my iMac using Apple Mail or Outlook and it has worked just fine to many users over many years with several Mac devices . However there is now one email account (hosted by Hostpapa) where it looks like a perfect send from me but it never arrives. No error messages. It is in my sent folder. Exhaustive checks show that the emails are not being received nor are they in the recipient's spam folder. This only happens when sending from one particular( and my default) gmail address and also from email aliases from that account. Other gmail, iCloud, yahoo etc emails all get through fine The Hostpapa email account will, however, receive emails from the gmail address if I send them from an iPhone or iPad or from the gmail webmail interface Something in my Apple Mail system seems to be preventing the email arriving at the other end (and just to the one email address). I have seen a question raised on a similar topic here but no suggested solution Any ideas anyone? Running 2019 imac Big Sur 11.1

BT Mail on Mac In an earlier discussion I queried why a BT email address was disabled after changing the password. That matter was resolved, or so thought! Whereas receiving mail is fine … when sending an email it now hangs in the Outbox and never sends. (This is not a problem on my iPhone or iPad). A forum member suggested earlier that I remove and reinstall the email account on the iMac, but by then I thought I’d resolved the issue. Would that provide a fix? If so how is that accomplished or is there another problem? As I said, all was fine until I changed the password! Thank you

btconnect email will not set up in iMac mail I have had an iMac since 2012. I have had my email setup in mail for 8 years. Email just stopped working one day. Tried everything. Works fine in iPad and in all other devices. Tried deleting it and starting again. It is a btconnect email which uses the office365 servers. When all is set up it has beachball spinning.... Can anyone help?

I suspect this is a BT server problem beyond your control. You can contact BT support or let in resolve in due time.

The @btinternet.com and @btopenworld.com email domains are interchangeable and you should receive emails to the same inbox if someone sends the email to either you @btinternet.com or @btopenworld.com.

I was thinking it was just me. All very annoying as an architect that I can't send e-mails to certain clients.
