Can't add Exchange account to Calendar

When I try to add a new Exchange account to Apple Calendar, I can get as far as indicating which apps to use (mail, calendar, notes, etc.). The button at the bottom says "Next" but has no effect when clicked. Can't progress to the next screen to tell the program what server, etc. Using Mojave 10.14.3 on a brand new Macbook Pro. Thanks.

Safe mode (sometimes called safe boot) is a way to start up your Mac so that it performs certain checks and prevents some software from automatically loading or opening.
