Do u know will they charge me if I take it into Apple shop it only needs connecting to iTunes ect..
Ok pal thanks.
Ok took it to apple they sorted the issue. Now got this message. Never heard of a email address like this.
Activation lock.
Linked to an apple id
P●●●●●@l●●●●●.uk
That device is on activation lock. It is likely the seller's email address or a stolen device. If you can't get the owner of that email address to remove activation lock, the device is useless.
Do they need to give me the email address and password or can they do it without the device??
Assuming that the seller is the real owner, he/she can erase the iPad from any device by signing in to icloud.com with a web browser.
Sorry, what is the screenshot for? Is she trying to prove something?
It was reset to factory setting I had to go into Apple today as it was blocked and asking connect to iTunes. But if they remove it from I cloud ect would I then need to connect to iTunes again??
What i not edit nothing. What been edied??
You did edit one of your posts, which showed a veiled email address showing the iPad is activation locked. ShagCA saw it and responded as did I.
FYI
it's the last reply on page 1 and if I can remember correctly, it either hasn't changed or I read the "edited" version.
I have messaged the seller at 2pm via eBay and text message and no reply as yet.
I hope for your sake they help you and you aren't another victim of buying an activation locked iPad with no way to ever use it. This happens daily and often multiple times daily.
Ebay should protects buyers. If things between you and the seller don't work out, contact Ebay immediately.
I bought off eBay so I could maybe get money back from them it's long winded I know .
