Photos shared albums
Whys can't I see my shared photo albums when in iCloud / Photos yet can be seen in the Photo / Shared albums ?

hared albums are using a different part of iCloud than iCloud Photos. iCloud Photos is using your paid iCloud Storage, but the storage for Shared Albums is free, shared albums are not really a part of your Photos Library. The Photos Library is just showing them to you, but they are stored outside the library. If you want to edit a photo from a shared album, you have to import it to your Photos Library and create a copy there.
