Remove find my iPhone from child’s phone

I am trying to remove the find my iPhone feature from my daughters phone and it is not allowing me to do so. She is under 13 and part of the family plan and I’m wondering if that is why. We need to send it back to Apple for a warranty claim now and they will not take it back without the find my iPhone feature off. Can anyone help?

You need the Apple ID and password she used to turn off Find my Phone on the device.
