itunes artwork

Hi, first od all thanks in advance for your answers.

I have added a CD to my iTunes library. iTunes doesn't find the artwork and it won't let me add it either.

I select the album (I have also tried track by track), right click album information, add the artwork and I can see it. But if I click accept the artwork won't last and it disappears.

Please, any solution to this?

Can't download album artwork from iTunes I am currently loading my vast CD selection into iTunes but for many albums when I choose the option to Get Album Artwork, this isn't downloaded. Bizarrely if I click on "View album in store" it takes me directly to the same album and shows the artwork, so iTunes does recognise the album. Have viewed similar posts but not seen any suggestions that work. Can anyone help?

Manually Add Artwork to iTunes I am currently converting my Vinyl collection to Digital and importing into iTunes. I have then been getting Album Artwork from the web and saving images to a folder. Using "Album Info" I then add the artwork to the album. This always shows up in the window and also has a green tick in the thumbnail view. But when you click ok there is only about a 50-50 success rate. Can anyone explain what controls the success or otherwise? As an aside, some of these albums do exist on the iTunes store for sale, but "Get Artwork" says they are not available, frustrating.

iTunes 12 album art won't save I've got iTunes 12.8.0.150. I'm trying to save album artwork for two albums I recently added by importing the CDs. I import my CDs to mp3 tracks. I've tried adding the artwork using Get Info > Album Art > Add Artwork > OK, but it disappears when I click OK. I've tried quitting iTunes and restarting. I've tried adding artwork to a single track. I've checked file permissions to make sure I have read/write access. I've tried dragging and dropping the album art. Nothing works. Any ideas?

See Choose import settings in iTunes on Mac. If you want highest quality imports then use Apple Lossless, otherwise 256K ACC would match what you would get from the iTunes Store. MP3 might be your preferred option if you want to add your music to a non-Apple device that doesn't support AAC.

However, this doesn't work. I had already tried it and I have just also tried again in case I did something wrong.

Yes, they are.

But that's the way iTunes ripped my CD.

What can I do then?

Are the tracks in question in .wav format? These cannot carry a tag or embedded artwork.
