Save Your Open Safari Tabs in a Bookmarks Folder

I just found this tip today. I'm new to Apple and thought it might be helpful for other people. If for some reason it doesn't work for you, I hope someone who knows more can help you further.

  1. Click 'Bookmarks' menu - make sure Safari is the active application
  2. Select 'Add Bookmarks' for these (however many) tabs option. Safari will then start creating a new bookmark folder with bookmarks for all the open tabs in your current Safari window.
  3. Create a name for the folder, pick your location in the Bookmarks menu, then click 'Add.'
  4. Click on your new bookmarks folder, and all the tabs you saved will appear in your active Safari window.

If you want or need to open your saved tabs without closing other open tabs in your Safari window, right click your folder of saved tabs, then uncheck the "Automatically Replace Tabs" option. In Mojave you just need to click on Bookmarks, click your saved folder, and chose "Open in New Tabs" option. Your saved tabs will open and your current tabs will remain.
