Process named PMA running on my Mac

I have found an app/process running on my Mac called "pma". Does anyone know what this is? It sometimes hangs and I get a message about it giving me the option to force quit.

Runaway process using large amount of CPU I'm getting a lot of beach balling -I know I have a vintage MAC AIr(losing battery count, SSD capacity ) but this runaway process has been there a long time( quite a few years); I don't know what it's called so I can't find it.It's utilizing a lot of cpu.I have downloaded the free version of Malwarebytes after reading a few questions answered here but it doesn't seem to be that.I would like to see if I can stop this runaway process.Any help appreciated.

MidAfternoon & Forpet Since updating to macOS 12.2 (21049) I seem to be finding a lot of "midafternoon quit unexpectedly" or "Forpet quit unexpectedly" - I have no idea what these items/programs the processes are linked too. Being a novice at computing when it comes to error messages, etc., (spreadsheets and presentations aren't an issue) how do i determine why this is happening and what these are linked too - i can see that it is from the following path /Users/USER/Library/midafternoon/midafternoon.app/Contents/MacOS/midafternoon but no idea otherwise as things appear to be working...it's more of an annoyance than anything else. Any ideas anyone?

Unknown Process brpLelYq A process named brpLelYq in my macbook pro 2015 is running since i have upgraded it to mojave, it is taking apporx upto 98% of cpu usage, i tried to force stop it but it starts again after some time, i have removed all my adobe products and some other 3rd party apps but could not find the thing which is the reason of its running, due to this process my mac is too hot as its fan is running in full speed all the time.
