my iphone says my laptop 'is not supported' to connect to bluetooth

I'm trying to connect my iphone & laptop. My laptop sees my iphone, but I get this message on my phone when trying to connect to my laptop iva bluetooth "Pairing Unsuccessful (laptop name) is not supported"

Connecting via Bluetooth for data transfer is not, nor has it ever been a feature of iOS. If your computer is a Mac, you can use airdrop to share your files. Otherwise you can use iCloud drive or any other cloud service you prefer.
