ipad 4th generation issue

I have a used 4th generation ipad. Last update was 9.3.5. Trying to download Kindle App which of course you need ios 10 or greater. How do I load the previous version of Kindle supported by my device?

I suspect you have a 3rd generation iPad which can only update to iOS 9.3.5 and not the iPad 4th generation.

The 4th generation should be able to update to iOS 10.3.3.

Check Settings > General > About > Model > tap here to see the model number.

If you really do have a 4th generation iPad, it can be updated to iOS 10.3.3. Connect your iPad to your computer via USB and upgrade the iOS via iTunes. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes before you do the update.
