Hi, I have a mac computer and an iphone and want to set my computer up so that I can send and receive texts messages to an android phone from my computer. I have read I need to download the "android messages" app but i can't find that app. can someone help me out?

You open that web page (https://messages.android.com/) on your computer in a regular web browser. You open the Messages app on your Android phone and scan the code that's displayed on your computer screen. After that I don't know because I don't really use an Android phone.
There's a bunch of other (and probably better) ways to do this, as we have been indicating.

Texting from your Mac or iPhone to an android phone works fine by just using the iMessage app
again, that article says use "android messages," and as i said, i can't find that.
It's a feature of Google for Android-users. You don't need it on your Mac or iPhone. I suggest just try to send a text-message and see what happens
