my iPhone is locked to bell, I had it unlocked before I was using with different provider and I did an update and now my sim is not working with the bell phone I called bell and they said they can’t find the IMEI number for the phone,

it is free to unlock your phone now from the provider, the phone was locked to bell I have called bell and they suggested I talk to apple as the phone is an apple phone if IMEI number can’t be found by bell who the phone is locked too then who is gonna help me solve my problem then ? I’m stuck with a apple product that is unusable? Because I have already contacted the phone company the phone is locked too and they can’t find anything In there system and told me to talk to apple support and here I am now.
