My imac constanty looses bluetooth connection to mouse and keyboard, i have to restart it every time. How to fix it? Latest system, imac retina 4k. It happens for several weeks, before i did not have this problem.

The following requires that you have a USB keyboard and mouse, any USB keyboard and mouse will work. If you don't have them, then either borrow or purchase them, they're pretty inexpensive.

  • Connect the USB keyboard and mouse
  • System Preferences - BlueTooth
  • Un-Pair the wireless keyboard and mouse
  • Turn Off BlueTooth
  • Restart the computer in Safe Mode per the directions in https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262
  • Restart the computer normally
  • System Preferences - BlueTooth
  • Re-Pair both the wireless keyboard and mouse
  • Disconnect the USB keyboard and mouse
  • Test and enjoy.
