Thanks for the quick response. I had anFB issue with some one impersonating my account. And my Web mail had some issues. I’m just wondering how far it goes. I am 67 yr old and carry some tech-no-phobia that comes with that.

No, no one has had physical access to my phone. So, I’m assuming my iPhone home screen/keyboard can only be read by me. Is that correct?

And I bet you are only a few years age difference either way from many of the top helpers here. ;-)

FB = FaceBook? It helps to define abbreviations at least once.

What do you mean by "impersonating your account"? Somebody has an account that is pretending to be your account? (I'm having a hard time getting a visual on that.)

Web mail? I don't know what that is. Do you mean e-mail? If so, what issues? Issues could lie with the email service provider, or your software, or anything.

It is easy to hack accounts when people use words like Freedom and Liberty for passwords. Holywood and television shows show somebody "hacking" into accounts in 5 seconds. Sure, they have to leave time for all those commercials. Hacking can often be somebody guessing an easy password, or somebody tricking you into revealing information. Anyway, I think it extremely unlikely you have been hacked, and if you think you have then change your password.

It's remarkably easy to impersonate someone on Facebook, especially if your current Facebook profile is open to the public. All they have to do is grab a few photos from your account and create a new one as you!

You might want to check your privacy settings on Facebook; instructions for that are here: https://www.facebook.com/help/www/193677450678703

As for your webmail - which company is it through? AOL, MSN, or perhaps your internet company?
