Blank CD—NOT!
I purchased an MP3 audiobook and my iMac is reading it as a blank CD. I’d like to download the MP3 but I can’t even get the file to show up.

If it was only one CD, I would think that could be true. With two professionally mastered CDs, I’m a little wary they could both be faulty. I’ll have to find a player I can use to test them.
Ordered from Amazon...
The BrillianceAudio site doesn't seem to offer any type of help in playing their product. It seems like a try your luck , SORRY you lose item. Here is a FAQ from the site.
I agree wholeheartedly, there is nothing more that the OP can do on this thread.
Many thanks to all for your responses.
Beside the question asked by Kilted Tim, on the prompt showing action by iTunes change the drop down menu to Finder, click OK and when the CD mounts on your desktop then open it and see if any type of file is in it. Possibly a Windows file not readable by iMac.
Most everyone in these forums will give you years of experience but on occasion things happen that are unique and without the computer and associated articles to try and duplicate the problems our hands are tied without detailed information.
If indeed you got the CD from Amazon then request a refund or replacement from Amazon then check Audible for the same title. Audible CD's I guarantee will work on a Mac or you can always download them from the Audible site.
Please carefully review https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-5931 and then repost your question.
Then they are blank. There is nothing on them, OR they were not properly mastered. Return them.
