Mighty mouse, disable broken side buttons on windows 10

The side buttons on my wired Mighty Mouse, have been overly sensitive for a long time, on my Mac i could just disable the buttons, recently though I have started using my laptop more. Browsing the internet and some other applications is incredibly frustrating as the moment I load a new page or click something it goes back. However Windows 10 has no obvious way (that i can find) to disable the buttons for this mouse. Ihave tried opening the mouse to see if there was any obvious was to disable them but i can’t see anything. I was hoping that someone here would know a way round this.

Do you have a Trackpad or Mouse panel in the Bootcamp Control Panel?

I haven't considered using the Mouse driver from the BC Drivers package, how would I go about trying this?

I'm not too sure what the 'standard mouse panel' is so I looked in the mouse settings and it doesn't let you see the available buttons

My familiarity with the Windows Registry is basically that it exists and how to access it, I had to Google this one and I'm not sure that what I found is what you wanted me to find.

this might disqualify me from using this forum, but its a Windows laptop, I’m trying to use a mouse with as i find trackpads awkward.

On a Mac, the Mouse is considered a 4-button mouse. This is the BT version of the mouse.

Thank you so much, the program shown in the article works perfectly. It'll be nice to finally use the internet without instead accidentally launching myself back pages.
