I have a 30” Apple Cinema Display. My MacBook Pro only has 4 USB C Ports and a 3.5MM Audio Output Port. It connects great to my Mid-2009 MacBook using a “Mini Display Port-to Display Port” Adapter.
I cannot connect my MacBook Pro to my 30” Apple Cinema Display. I am using a “USB C-to-Display Port” adapter.

If I use black as my background color, I get horizontal line flickering, but use any other color, there are no lines. Retting the NVRAM and the SMC does nothing to solve this. And, as the for GUI --- there are no issues, and the goes same for watching iTunes videos.
Using a Virtual Machine, there is no issue with a black-background.
The only issue is there is flickering occurring in the Black-Colored Desktop --- only on the Cinema Display?
Any solution to this flickering?
All else seems flawless.
