Photo dates

my photos are not in chronicological order due to the wrong year. . Can I go in and change a whole group of pictures or just one by one. Os is there a better way to deal with this?

Since it is the year you can select a bunch of images and use image->adjust date and time...

Date change not accepted by Photos I recently changed the dates of about 30 photos from the incorrect date of 2023 to the correct date of 1993. I changed each photo one by one so that the date and time matched other photos in the group. Unfortunately, when I re-opened Photos the date are back to the 2023 date. These 30 photos are from a group of about 300 that I scanned. The other 270 photos are retaining their correct date. I am running ventura 13.1 and Photos 8.0. Any suggestions??

Photo order ( not in an album or folder) Photos is placing my pics in the wrong year or date, is it possible to rearrange them? this is for the general photos page not albums or folders.

change date on a photo Before I updated to Monterey (in January 2022), my photos were putting themselves in smart albums by year. Now with the update, they are no longer in the smart albums! So, how can I manually change the dates of the photos to get them sorted by year again? Background: I scanned over 1,000 photos dating from 1986-2000 and when I scanned them in, I saved them to Photos, typing the year into the file name under handwritten. Magically (before Monterey) this put them in the correct smart album.
