UpdaterStartupUtility quit message

This has been popping up recently. I'm running 10.14.3. Ran Disk Utility and turned off Automatic Updates. I've sent several reports to Apple.

How do I resolve this?

So to confirm, you've removed Adobe Flash player using the Adobe removal tool, rebooted, and the UpdaterStartupUtility crash persists?

Okay... Download and run and post the output of EtreCheck here. When you post the reply, use the (highlighted) button that looks like a printed page. That button will open a field in the reply with enough room to paste the complete configuration report.

The configuration report may point to some installed software here that's triggering this error.

Okay. Pasting the report text was what was intended, but that image is workable.

The crashing UpdaterStartupUtility is almost certainly a problem with the Adobe software here; something beyond Flash Player. That problem may also be related to the crash in InDesign.

Try removing and reinstalling CC, per the Adobe documentation. If that fails, check directly with the Adobe support folks.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! Found the fix on the Adobe site. Here is was:

uninstall everything cc including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.

if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 4 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials
