Videos disappeared from SD card that was inserted into a Mac?

I have a 16GB SD card that has videos and photos from my Sony a6000. I inserted the card into a Ma desktop at work and tried to save the files to the desktop. The files were not supported and QuickTime was not responding.

When I got home I loaded the SD card onto my PC, only to find the videos gone. Recovery software couldn't find the videos and they're not on the camera's internal memory. Any idea where they could be? I can check the Mac on Monday.

You can use find any file to search for them. Searches through the filesystem. doesn't use a database. Need to know the extension or how the files were named.
