Facetime Live Photo “not enabled”

I’ve noticed that on my iPhone X when I try to take live photo’s on facetime it won’t let me and it says facetime photos must be available on both devices. But the thing is it’s turned on on both of the devices... anybody with the same issue???

iPhone X, iOS 12

Hello kevinmcpoland!

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities!

I see from your post that you're having trouble taking a FaceTime Live Photo.

Take a look at the "Use FaceTime Live Photos" section of the article, Use FaceTime with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch and make sure everything is correct on both devices as listed.

If you are still having an issue, contact Apple Support.

Cheers.
