Phone Numbers formatted wrong, on iPhone

The phone numbers are formatted wrong, on iPhone 6S.

So when I look at my "recently dialed" listings, it's all a mess. And people's names no longer attached to the phone numbers either.

People say "change your region from US to UK, and then change it back again". That is not so easy !! It requires me to discontinue my Apple music subscription, before I can change countries.

So what's the real fix for this highly inconvenient Apple software bug malfunction, on iPhone?
