If this is the original battery that the iPhone shipped with and the device has had resonable use, I’d say it may need a replacement battery, if one is available.

It is a problem that a few people have experienced where one of your apps is using up background wifi

restore as new will fix it but you may lose data. Backup and restore may not fix it.
