Keyboard's Backlight not working on a specific key (left-command)

I'm sending you a picture of my keyboard to figure out what I can do about it.

I'm using a Macbook Pro 13 without Touch Bar, mid-2017.

From your screenshot I can see that the command key on the left side of the keyboard on your MacBook Pro is not lighting up with the backlight. Resetting the SMC is a great first step to take. Since it didn’t begin working after resetting the SMC, the next step will be to have your  MacBook Pro evaluated in person by a technician. You can use this site to locate the nearest service providers:  Apple - Find Locations. If you find you need more assistance locating service, Contact Apple Support.
