An iTunes Gift Card either has its full, original balance or it has a zero balance.
There is no way to check other than try to redeem it.
You cannot use part of it. It’s all or nothing.
If you only spent a portion, then the rest is in your account as a credit balance.

But the gift card is for $10 maybe I used only part of it. Why can’t I check the balance like any other gift card that I own. There needs to be a recorded line to check the gift card.
Ok. I understand now that if I use part of it the rest goes to My account as credit balance. But why can’t I check if the card is full or empty. It just doesn’t make sense.
