Early 2015 MacBook Pro Retina Audio issues (MacBook Pro 12,1) MainStage and Garageband issues
Greetings everyone,
I plugged in an aux cord to my Macbook and the computer restarted. I had no issues logging back in, but now I cannot get any sound through the internal speakers or aux port. I also have no output devices showing up in my preferences. When I press the volume keys, I get a circle with a cross through it and no sounds from anywhere. I have reset the PRAM, NVRAM, and tried checking the aux port for a red light/stuck sensor. I deleted my laptop and reinstalled everything. I continue to not have any options for audio drivers. When I go to use MainStage 3, it will not load the program due to not recognizing any audio drivers. Garageband will not allow me to export anything due to not having audio drivers. Is the audio portion of the logic board fried? I booted, holding 'D' and the analysis came back saying there were no issues. I cannot find an instance in weeks of googling of anyone else having a fix. Thank you for your help.
