iPhone XR keeps losing internet connectivity on wif

I got my XR yesterday. My first iPhone since the 4 btw. I had no issues yesterday with wifi connection. Starting today my phone keeps losing internet connectivity while on wifi. Multiple locations. I am still connected but have no internet access. I have to turn off wifi and turn it back on to get internet connectivity. This last on average 15 to 20 min before I have to turn off and on wifi.. I have done a forget network and power cycled my device. With same results. Short of backing up via iTunes. And doing a factory reset....any other suggestions?
