washed out ios imovie videos

Hi,

Y'all I need help! I have been trying to upload a video from IOS imovie for the last 3 weeks and still have not been able to do so. As soon as I save the video from Imovie it completely washes out the video. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I do not have a MAC computer so editing on Imovie on a pc is not possible. HELP PLEASE!!

Imported clips from iPhone 12 Pro to iMovie are washed-out I use iMovie all the time. Now, when I import video clips from my iPhone 12 Pro (which I have done for 6 months with zero issues), the clips appear over-exposed and washed-out. If I open the file in Quicktime, it looks fine, but when I import the file to iMovie it's all washed-out. MacBook Pro 2015. Movie 10.1.14. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

The Media for this clip is still on the camera I imported several videos from my iPhone to my Macbook Pro. 75% had fully downloaded when iMovie crashed. The first video is fine. But all the rest have a camera icon in lower left corner of the thumbnail. If you hover the pointer over the icon is says the media for this clip is still on the camera. I can only view them while the iPhone is connected to the Macbook Pro. I "deleted the media from the event" and then reimported a clip. The thumbnail instantly popped up but with the camera icon. How can I copy these clips into iMovie permanently? Equip/systems Macbook Pro macOS Big Sur 11.5.2 iMovie 10.2.5 iPhone 11 Pro iOS 14.7.1
